Description
Certification at IRATA Level 2 lasts for 3 years. This training course will revalidate your IRATA Level 2 certificate for another 3 years.
You don’t lose out by getting in early; you can revalidate up to 6 months before your expiry date, and the new certification will run for 3 years from the original expiry date.
If you’ve let your Level 2 certification expire IRATA require:
By up to 6 months: attend a Level 2 standard revalidation course
By 6 months – 2 years: first attend an appraisal day to demonstrate your competence, then attend a standard Level 2 revalidation course
By over 2 years: first attend a Level 1 course, and attain at least a ‘good standard’ at assessment, complete at least 3 months work experience at Level 1 including at least 150 logged rope hours, then attend a standard Level 2 revalidation course.
