Welcome to Access Techniques Ltd.

We specialise in teaching Industrial Rope Access to IRATA standards, and are based in Sheffield.

The Venue: Our training centre in the heart of Sheffield is based in a Grade II listed Victorian Barracks, with the main Drill Hall providing a superb all-weather training area based on the beautiful arched steelwork, a scale version of that used in G-MEX and St. Pancras. The building also has a 15m high outdoor tower, offering a real life hi-rise rooftop experience. Trainees are assured of a variety of realistic situations and genuine exposure to height.

The Trainers: Experienced rope access trainers Adam Long and Aide Jebb set up Access Techniques in 2010. Between us we have over twenty years experience in the industry, working both in the UK and abroad, and have trained hundreds of operatives to all IRATA levels. Adam has a technical background, having carried out research into Rope Access PPE for the UK Health & Safety Executive, while Aide has a wealth of practical experience supervising complex contracts on and offshore.

We can also provide:

Bespoke courses for Work at Height

Equipment supply

PPE Inspection

We are members of IRATA - the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association
